The Role:
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join a busy team on a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This is a varied role where you’ll be responsible for delivering day-to-day transactional HR processes, providing administrative support, and ensuring a smooth experience for staff and managers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for employee queries, escalating complex issues to the HR Officer as needed.
* Coordinating and administering HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, and learning & development.
* Maintaining and updating the HRIS system and ensuring data accuracy.
* Producing management reports and supporting compliance requirements.
* Assisting with policy reviews, updates, and ensuring company-wide compliance.
* Supporting recruitment activity end-to-end, from role planning to contracts.
* Conducting check-in reviews and exit interviews when required.
* Collaborating with managers to deliver engaging inductions and training programmes.
The Person:
We are looking for someone with previous HR administration or recruitment administration experience who is confident, organised, and adaptable.
You will ideally bring:
* A basic understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
* Experience using an HRIS or online database.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels.
* The ability to prioritise workloads, work to deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Good Microsoft Office skills.
* CIPD Level 3 (desirable) or willingness to work towards it.
Salary
Salary: £28,930.26 – £30,058.56 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Minimum 3 months, with potential to extend
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Central Bristol – hybrid working (1 day per week in the office for first 6 weeks training, hybrid to be agreed thereafter)
