Matchtech are proud to be supporting an established, top-tier aviation operator in the search for a dedicated Compliance & Safety Officer (AOC). This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation operating at the highest standards within the industry.
This position is based at their operational headquarters in the Oxford area. Please note: this is not a remote role; applicants must be able to commute. Candidates must also have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship is available.
The Role
You will join a professional Compliance & Safety team supporting both Operations and Airworthiness functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven environment, enjoys analysing data and trends, and is passionate about driving a robust Safety and Compliance culture.
Working across multiple regulatory environments (2-REG, UK CAA, BCAA), you will gain valuable exposure and hands-on experience in auditing, safety investigations, and supporting an established management system.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and support a strong Just Culture, contributing to internal initiatives and communications.
Gather and analyse data from the Centrik system to track Safety Performance Indicators.
Assist with Management of Change processes, ensuring timely completion of actions.
Support the creation of audit checklists, contractor surveys, and compliance documentation.
Complete safety case classifications and assist with safety investigations.
Contribute to risk assessments using ARMS methodology, supported by trend and findings analysis.
Work closely with the Compliance and Safety Managers to strengthen management systems.
Support colleagues in effectively using the Centrik platform, encouraging continuous learning.
Undertake additional tasks as required by senior members of the Compliance & Safety team.
Skills & Experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for learning.
Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
Strong IT proficiency; previous experience with Centrik is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
