Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Highway Engineer with strong expertise in total station operation and levelling. This role involves working on infrastructure and highway projects, ensuring accurate surveying and setting out in accordance with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out topographical and engineering surveys using total stations and associated equipment.
* Conduct precise levelling activities to support highway construction and maintenance works.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to deliver accurate setting out and site preparation.
* Maintain accurate survey records and reports, ensuring all data is collected and logged appropriately.
* Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure technical requirements are met on site.
* Comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and efficient working environment at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in highway engineering and site surveying
* Proficiency with total station instruments (e.g., Leica, Trimble)
* Strong knowledge of levelling and setting out techniques
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD files
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
* Valid UK driving licence preferred

Pay: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
