We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Land Use Analyst
Across our business our estates cover over 53,000 acres, you’ll help to ensure we are making best use of this land asset through the delivery of our range of business objectives.
Responsibilities
* Ensure internal land governance processes are followed and proposals for changes in land use are consulted upon with operational stakeholders across the business, particularly where it is proposed to sell land or grant third party rights outside of the business, and submit papers to relevant portfolio boards.
* Support the development of the approval framework with the goal of embedding a best value-to-use assessment process and the management of land interests across the Severn Trent/HD estate.
* Ensure we remain compliant with approaches to land use allocation and understand the long-term regulatory and internal governance impacts.
* Develop understanding of key business strategies that impact land use choices and adapt or develop processes to support governance.
* Build successful relationships with key stakeholders involved in the governance process and add value to the process as experience grows.
Location and work pattern
You'll be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You’ll work within our Land and Planning Team. The role is 37 hours a week with WFH flexibility available and travel to other sites will be required at times, so you’ll need to hold a full U.K driving licence.
