As a Security Officer, you will operate within a prestigious financial environment, delivering a professional and discreet security presence.
You will play a key role in protecting people, assets, and infrastructure, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-controlled workplace providing a high quality of physical security, patrolling, emergency response service, 24/7 technical surveillance, monitoring and reacting to all critical alarms for the client building.
With a strong focus on customer service, presentation, and integrity, you will create a confident and reassuring presence while proactively detecting, deterring, and responding to risks.
The emphasis will be on excellence and quality service delivery, and this will be enhanced with an in-depth overall knowledge of building security function. You will provide support during major incidents and emergency situations.
The Role
1. Deliver a professional security presence aligned with high-profile corporate standards
2. Follow SOPs, Assignment Instructions, and Risk Assessments to maintain a secure site
3. Respond to incidents and emergencies, including fire, medical, and security events
4. Safeguard personnel, visitors, assets, and critical infrastructure across campus
5. Manage access and reception, ensuring smooth experiences for staff, visitors, and VIPs
6. Be a visible presence at static and vehicle access points, supporting efficient operations
7. Conduct patrols to identify, assess, and escalate risks, threats, or breaches
8. Operate integrated security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control
9. Control room operations, including incident coordination, communications, and liaison with emergency services
10. Produce accurate reports and support a culture of risk awareness, compliance, and operational excellence
About You
11. Proven corporate security experience, including control room operations, risk and threat assessment, and incident management
12. SIA Frontline Door Supervisor licensed and CCTV certified, with fire and building systems training
13. Meets strict vetting requirements: 5-year checkable work history, enhanced BS7858, and pre-employment criminal and credit checks
14. Eligible to work in the UK
15. Holds a valid 3-day First Aid at Work certificate
16. Physically capable of patrolling large areas and managing access points
17. Confident and professional when engaging with clients, visitors, staff, and contractors
18. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, fluent in written and spoken English
19. IT proficient: MS Word, Excel, PA systems, and integrated security platforms
20. Calm, decisive, and effective under pressure, with strong emergency response skills
21. Reliable, flexible, professional, with high standards of personal presentation
22. Committed to vigilance, situational awareness, and upholding safety, security, and compliance
