We’re working with a large hospitality brand with a strong heritage on the lookout for a PR Executive to join its team.

The Role
Reporting into the PR Lead, you’ll help draft engaging content and generate positive headlines in local, regional and national media, as well as on social media, by working closely with both journalists and influencers. You’ll work from research through to writing and issuing press releases, features, editorial content, advertorials and spokesperson quotes, through to handling crisis situations. You will have responsibility for building strong relationships with journalists and influencers, managing media events and press/influencer visits. You will also be instrumental in shaping the influencer marketing strategy moving forward.
You
You’ll have 1-2 years’ PR experience, either in an agency or inhouse team. You’ll be a talented writer, able to turn your hand to press releases, features, editorial and advertorial content. An excellent communicator and relationship builder, you will have previous media and influencer liaison experience in order to pitch stories and secure coverage. Strong organisation skills and able to juggle multiple projects at one time, across multiple parts of the brand. Any previous experience in hospitality or leisure PR, or even working in the sector during education would be an advantage. Due to location of their head office and their sites, you’ll need a driving licence and access to transport.
