Responsibilities
* Identify key print trends and big season deals.
* Draw influence from Instagram micro‑trends, seasonal global trends and catwalks to drive print newness.
* Deliver constant quick‑response print newness to the design and buying teams, demonstrating agility and speed.
* Maintain knowledge of print studios, mills, colour and fabric.
* Collaborate with in‑house design team and relevant clothing designers to manage departmental design work.
* React to sales information to design commercially relevant, fashion‑forward prints and update best‑sellers for continuous newness.
* Stay organised and focused, adhering to critical paths and meeting deadlines.
* Build relations with suppliers and advise factories on required print techniques.
* Proactively identify departmental print needs, drive newness and solve problems.
* Sourcing prints from Topshop archives and vintage collections for inspiration.
* Travel for inspirational trend research and produce comparative print and graphic trend reports.
* Work with Design teams to create editorial prints that deliver brand USP.
Qualifications
* Strong CAD skills, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Experience designing for an aspirational brand or similar high‑street retailer.
* Experience across all print categories with a strong graphics focus.
* Experience working with Far East, Indian and European suppliers.
* Strong commercial understanding of the brand and customer.
* Fashion‑forward, directional trend print eye.
* Professional conduct and confidentiality.
* Excellent time management and resilience.
* Problem‑solving skills, calm under pressure.
* Effective communication with colleagues, suppliers, wider team and senior management.
* Ability to drive the print direction and strategy of the print department.
* Willingness to travel in the UK and abroad for development meetings and inspiration.
