Ceremony Manager

Newport Registration Service is seeking a proactive and innovative Ceremonies Manager to lead the development and delivery of ceremonies, including marriages, civil partnerships, citizenships, and other events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the Ceremonies Team, including recruitment, training, and rota management.
* Coordinate ceremony bookings and appointments using an electronic diary system.
* Deliver ceremonies with professionalism and warmth both in-house and at approved venues. This will include travel between venues and some weekend working.
* Drive promotional activities to increase awareness and support service innovation.
* Deputise for the Registration and Coroner Service Manager.
We are looking for a confident and people-focused leader with proven experience in event or ceremony management, and excellent public speaking skills. An individual skilled in marketing and business development, ideally within the public sector. A person committed to excellent customer service, with flexibility and resilience to meet changing demands.
