NPP are recruiting for an experienced site manager for a permanent role for an established, reputable West Midlands based principal contractor that specialises in new build and refurbishment for the commercial and education sectors.
Duties
* Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
* Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
* Rams & site inductions
* Enforcing health & safety protocols
* Coordinating and supervising, the site team & sub-contractors
* Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
* Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
* Maintaining quality control procedures
* Assessing and minimising risk
* writing and submitting reports
* Helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licences.
* Experience of education and commercial build projects
Requirements
* CSCS Black Card
* SMSTS
* 1st Aid at work certificate
* Relevant construction certification
* DBS (or willing to go through the application)
