Senior Mobile Developer — Nottingham hybrid (3 days onsite). ASAP - Full time (permanent). We are expanding our Mobile Development team in Nottingham!

Responsibilities
* Be a technical evangelist within the team and across the organization, coaching and mentoring other engineers as appropriate.
* Work with other Senior Engineers to ensure the mobile offering stays compelling for end-users and for the engineers working on it.
* Design and develop software features as part of a self-organized Mobile Engineering Team, evaluating technical risks and technology choices with the Engineering Manager.
* Question the status quo professionally and drive best current engineering practices across mobile communities of practice for ongoing improvements.
* Work to achieve the goals and vision shared by Product Management.
* Innovate within your team and initiative area, contributing within your technical domain.
* Be a helpful, approachable problem-solver with strong technical, collaborative, and communication skills, supporting frequent releases of high-quality software in a complex, regulated environment.
What You Will Bring / Qualifications
* Strong programming skills with good working knowledge of Android technologies (Kotlin/Java) and modern Android toolsets (Android Studio, JUnit, Espresso).
* Strong programming skills with good working knowledge of iOS technologies (Swift) and modern toolsets (Git, Xcode, XCTest, XCUITest, Jenkins).
* Experience working with cloud/AWS and related opportunities.
* Effective communication and ability to collaborate across different engineering areas.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality applications at scale.
* Be an advocate for quality and support the team using approaches such as Pair Programming, TDD and BDD.
* An interest in learning new languages, tools, libraries and frameworks.
* An interest in static typing and reactive programming. Experience that would be advantageous: solving real-world problems and working in a complex regulated environment.
