We are currently looking for a Distribution Supervisor – Nights to join us at Chippenham. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose‑led company, please read on.
The role
* Proactively manage the Health and Safety systems and procedures driving safety KPIs to ensure accident prevention and safety improvement.
* Manage S&D activity within Chippenham Distribution to achieve KPI targets and business objectives with daily, weekly and monthly review of all KPIs with team members.
* Co‑ordinate departmental productivity improvement through effective resource management and operator flexibility. Manage and monitor picking productivity/quality to ensure output from the team. Identify and act with poor performers/high achievers.
* Co‑ordinate S&D activities in conjunction with Customer Service Departments to ensure that Customer service and Operational efficiencies are maximized.
* Co‑ordinate activities with Factory Management and production planning to ensure that operational efficiency is maintained and improved.
* Manage stock integrity control measures.
* Communicate effectively with employees, lead and motivate in order to develop relations and successfully manage personnel resources.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels to deliver service demands
The profile
* 3+ years of experience within a Distribution supervisory role
* Knowledge of Lean Practices, Six Sigma: desirable
* IT Literate
* SAP knowledge: preferred
