We are recruiting for a Class 1 Walking Floor / Injector Driver and Loader to join a waste management company based in Cumbernauld. This role involves both driving and operating specialist equipment to move and process waste materials. It suits someone practical, safety-focused and comfortable with a mix of driving and on-site duties. Your Time at Work * Driving a Class 1 walking floor or injector vehicle to transport waste materials * Operating walking floor and injection equipment safely and efficiently * Loading and unloading materials in line with site procedures * Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks * Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with legal requirements * Completing delivery notes and maintaining accurate records * Following all health and safety guidelines on-site and on the road * Assisting with general site and loading duties when required Our Perfect Worker * Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence * Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card * Previous walking floor, injector or similar experience preferred * Good understanding of health and safety within waste or industrial environments * Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks * Reliable, punctual and able to work independently * Strong communication skills and a professional approach * Flexible attitude to duties and working hours Key Information and Benefits * Based in Cumbernauld * Monday to Friday working pattern * 6:00am start time * Overtime available after 8 hours * Full-time, ongoing work * Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) * Weekly pay * Training and induction provided * Opportunity for permanent employment * Supportive team environment About Brightwork Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
