Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Communications Advisor for our Oil & Gas operator client based in Kingswells, near Aberdeen. There is the opportunity to work either on a long-term contract basis or as a staff member. Please note that due to the requirement to be part of the Emergency Response Team, this role cannot be worked fully remotely, but a hybrid working pattern is in place.
Candidates should have a background in oil & gas corporate communications and ideally have experience of both internal and external communications.
* Provides advice and support on communication issues in line with corporate and UK strategy and messaging.
* Responsible for developing strategies for internal communications, including planning and implementation for various channels, projects, and initiatives.
* Ensures fast and consistent deployment of communication campaigns across the business and tracks success.
* Manages the in-house email newsletter, including content, drafting, layout, and distribution coordination.
* Chairs the company CSR Committee and manages the annual CSR program and quarterly community fund.
* Participates in emergency response planning, training, and media response.
* Prepares speeches, presentations, and articles for leadership.
* Develops professional expertise through ongoing professional development and networking.

* Experience in a corporate communications environment, with knowledge of communication tools and strategy.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and presentations.
* Ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
* Up-to-date knowledge of communication best practices.
