Once a consumer has checked out on our website, or has received the support of our first-class customer support team, then the hard work and our clients journey begins
Heatable are looking to hire a knowledgeable gas engineer who has solid industry experience to join our existing team, who are all based at our head office in Warrington.
The role is varied and exciting, and each day you will be supporting new clients and our amazing engineers, who love to help our clients and promote the Heatable brand. The role is mainly office based, with some onsite support throughout the year.
The role and duties will include –
* Conducting remote surveys for new boiler installations, and supporting our Project Co-Ordinators within their day-to-day roles
* Providing technical support to onsite engineers, offering expert advice as needed, and offering solutions to support our installations and consumers
* Perform detailed audits and scoring of our installations, to maintain the best-in-class service which we are well known for
* Assist internal teams, and provide knowledge and support as required, and help find solutions on the day with your experience and installation know-how
* Advise customers on suitable products for their specific needs and support with technical knowledge to enable smart and informative decisions
* Supporting our engineers daily with technical advice, knowledge of building regulations, and manufacturer-specific requirements
* Provide feedback to the installation network and help grow our reputation and brand withing the heating industry
The ideal candidate will have –
* Gas Safe qualifications - and support any additional qualifications
* Have a strong understanding of fault finding, boiler wiring, heating system types, and current regulations
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
* Ability to assess complex, unfamiliar situations, visualise solutions, and see them through to resolution for both consumers and engineers
* Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to grow with the evolving demands of the role as we continue to grow
* Comfortable transitioning from "man in van" to "man in office"
Preferred Qualifications (but not essential):
* FGAS qualifications (to support work with our air conditioning systems)
* Heat pump qualifications ( to help support our team as required)
