We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Worker to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, along with a strong work ethic and organisational skills.
Duties
* Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques
* Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
* Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods
* Conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure operational safety and efficiency
* Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety standards, and ensure proper storage of items
* Perform regular stock counts and assist in organising warehouse layout for optimal space utilisation
* Support in the movement of goods within the warehouse, including stacking, palletising, and preparing orders for delivery
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Skills
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
* Valid Counterbalance and Reach licence.
* Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting
* Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting safely
* Valid forklift licence or experience operating forklifts is highly desirable
* Previous warehouse experience demonstrating familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures
* Ability to perform basic maths accurately for inventory counts and order processing
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy loads safely
