Job Description
We are looking for a Graduate Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance Manufacturing Team, producing precision components in a fast-paced, advanced engineering environment.
Our operations span two advanced manufacturing facilities in Northampton, featuring 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines, mill-turns, lathes and grinders supported by automation for complex, high-precision production. With internal design, build, and test, all processes are fully integrated through Siemens NX and Teamcenter, ensuring seamless collaboration from concept to completion.
This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from highly skilled engineers while gaining hands‑on experience across the full manufacturing lifecycle.
The Role
* Develop & optimise multi-axis CNC programs using CAM.
* Design and implement production fixturing using CAD.
* Take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept to production.
* Support new product introduction, tooling, and process development.
* Support shopfloor staff, driving continuous improvement.
* Estimate production times and costs, managing BOMs.
* Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
* Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline (2:1 or above).
* Experience using 3D CAD software.
* Understanding of 2D engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Basic knowledge of CAM systems (experience advantageous).
* Understanding of internal combustion engine principles.
* Relevant work experience in automotive, motorsport, or manufacturing environments.
* Practical, hands‑on problem solver who thrives in a fast‑paced setting.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own workload.
* A proactive attitude towards learning and development.
* Passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
