The Role
We're seeking a motivated Business Sales & Customer Service Assistant to join our expanding Business Sales team. Reporting to the Head of Business Sales, you'll be the first point of contact for our B2B clients, handling orders, building relationships, and supporting the growth of our business accounts.

Key responsibilities.
* Process all types of customer orders from receipt through to after-sales support, with a strong focus on business clients.
* Identify, qualify, and convert new prospects to grow the customer base.
* Establish, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with business clients.
* Recommend tailored solutions by understanding client needs and aligning them with company product offerings.
* Regularly contact business customers via phone to strengthen relationships, follow up on orders, and identify new opportunities.
* Use all available communication channels, including email, live chat, phone, and video, to effectively engage with clients and build partnerships.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to identify product improvements or new product ideas.
* Ensure service excellence by following and promoting organisational standards and best practices.
* Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings either on-site or at external venues.
* Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties as assigned by the Business Sales Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, or Directors.
Required skills and experience.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach suited to business clients.
* Be confident engaging with clients through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, live chat, video calls, and business platforms.
* Demonstrate good IT and CRM skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new business systems quickly.
* Show strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing business orders and account information.
* Work effectively within a busy sales and support team environment, especially during peak seasonal demand or when handling key accounts.
* Have previous experience in B2B customer service, account management, sales support, or order processing, which is desirable.
* Take a proactive and solution-focused approach to resolving client issues and identifying opportunities for growth.

Salary:
£13.25 per hour (monthly pay 28th)
Hours of work
Basic hours 37.5 hours per week
8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Successful candidate must be willing to work overtime at peak time of year, approx. 11th Nov to 13th Dec. This will include 1 day at the weekend.
Contract length: Immediate start. Finish date 9th Jan 2026
