To support our work we are recruiting to the following role:

Full Time Apprentice Office Administrator or Part Time Administrator, Hendersons - Rothes

Duration Full Time or Part Time Location Rothes Closing Date Friday 19th September 2025

About Henderson Decorators
Based in Rothes, Hendersons are an established family business who carry out painting and decorating contracts within the private, commercial and industrial sectors throughout Scotland.

About The Role
This role provides hands-on experience in a variety of administrative tasks, from reception and travel booking to data entry and team support. Where experience is needed, the position will be undertaken as a Business Administration Modern Apprenticeship, lasting up to one year with full support from an allocated training provider. For the right candidate, there may also be the opportunity to progress to a Graduate Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

* Provide reception and front-desk support.
* Arrange and manage staff travel and accommodation bookings.
* Coordinate and book employee training sessions.
* Carry out accurate data entry tasks.
* Maintain filing systems, both electronic and manual.
* Handle scanning, printing, and photocopying duties.
* Check and process timesheets and checklists to ensure accuracy and completion.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Required To

* No formal qualifications are required, but you must have the willingness to learn and complete an apprenticeship qualification.
* Previous office experience is an advantage, though applications from school or college leavers are welcome.
* Confident computer skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with Sage software is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
