How you’ll play your part
In this role, you will deliver and implement insurance programmes and product development initiatives within a highly regulated environment (FCA) for all General Insurance distribution channels. To provide business support for all insurance activity and Insurance projects and changes, enabling the business to ensure fair value and quality of delivery to the end user.
Main Accountabilities
1. Support the implementation for digitalisation of the UK insurance business and Retailer focused insurance solutions and support local requirements providing focus on all insurance products and all key customer and retailer digital touch points.
2. Support the business with Consumer Duty related activity providing oversight of existing and new business practices as well as oversight and monitoring of outsource suppliers and partners.
3. Deliver and support new product initiatives for Retail insurance in line with consumer research results and changing market conditions in order to maximise growth of the insurance portfolios.
4. To maintain and update documentation such as policy wordings, customer letters, emails FAQs, promotional material in line with regulatory requirements, brand and compliance standards.
5. To maintain, and update all Mercedes-Benz Insurance websites, Intranets, portals in line with regulatory requirements, headquarter, brand and compliance standards within the regulated environment of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
6. To act as support to retailer partners for both Passenger Cars & Vans and supplier/brand partners and stakeholders to ensure MBIS continue to offer high levels of service keeping products up to date and maintaining compliant standards.
7. To provide assistance to Scheme Performance Analyst for operational performance stats and key performance measures, Analysing any output and notifying management team of any anomalies, trends or errors with Consumer Duty in mind. Collating and gathering data for specific reporting topics including the analysing of data and enrichment purposes.
8. To provide business related system-testing support for the Insurance systems, projects and changes, enabling the business to ensure quality to our Retailers/Customers. To undertake functional and integrational testing, liaising with internal and third-party suppliers to ensure appropriate test coverage in adhered to.
About you
9. At least two years insurance and/or private lines background with experience of sales and marketing activities.
10. High levels of organisational and administrative skills
11. Understanding of principals of insurance regulations relevant to the sale and distribution of insurance products.
12. Knowledge and experience of end-to-end digital journeys.
13. Knowledge of digital standards and technologies is an advantage.
14. Profound knowledge in all MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access).
