We are pleased to advertise an exciting internal opportunity for a Chef Manager to lead the kitchen team at Coton Green Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced catering professional to take ownership of the school kitchen, delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health and wellbeing of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen and catering service
Plan and prepare healthy, appealing menus that meet school food standards
Manage food ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets
Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance
Lead, motivate, and develop the catering team
Promote a positive dining experience for students and staff
What You'll Need To Succeed
Experience in a chef or catering management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety and school food standards
A passion for providing healthy, nutritious meals for young people
Excellent organisational and communication skills
