Oporteo combines class leading levels of flexibility in design and content management, a standard packaged product approach to addressing the unique functional requirement of the sector and an innovative integration model that helps our clients achieve sales and service channel unification.Role SummaryWe are looking for a driven, customer focused individual who is looking for that special opportunity to build on the success we have had with Oporteo to drive the ongoing growth of our digital solutions business.Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesTo drive the development of our proposition in terms of the software and services we take to market.To drive marketing and business development activities in close co-operation with our marketing and business development resources.To grow a strong new business opportunity pipeline.To successfully close new business deals through consultative value-added client engagements and to meet sales targets.Engage with the existing Oporteo client base and to identify mutual digital development opportunities and close sales into the existing client base.Provide input into product and services development from customer and market insights.Other duties relating to the promotion of the business and management of opportunities as may be required by BCP from time to time.Typical ActivitiesDeveloping and communicating solution messaging at both a business and technical level.Providing industry expertise and guidance to clients.Communicating and development opportunities and solutions to potential and existing clients.Author and provide presentations both to executive-level and working-level client audiencesPresent value-based solution demonstrations with the support of Pre-Sales Consultants and other resources.Develop and present custom demonstrations based on prospective client requirements using BCP productsProvide solution insight paralleling the solution to client needsGuide prospective clients to the merits and strengths of the BCP solutionRemain current in industry and technology trendsDocument all prospective client meetings and decisions in BCP systems.Manage produce and submit relevant proposals RFI and ITT responses with the support of appropriate BCP technical resources Organize communications activities with internal colleagues to support pre sales customer activities.Plan and prioritise personal activities and customer contact, managing personal time and productivity.Record, analyse, report and administer according to BCP’s systems and requirements, using Microsoft Office tools where not otherwise specified.Experience, Qualification and SkillsHave an infectious passion for digital and ecommerce solutions, and how they can help merchants develop their businesses.Have practical experience in the development of ecommerce channels within a merchant or consultative role.Have a track record of building a sales pipeline and meeting sales targets.Experienced in selling to multiple levels within an organisation.Fluent and articulate communicator who can instil confidence and build a rapport with key decision makers and influencersBe a self-reliant, motivated, team playerEducated to degree level or graduate calibreFull driving licence requiredMicrosoft Office abilitiesExperience in the B2B trading sectorMust live within one hour’s drive of StockportRemunerationBasic Salary CompetitiveOTE CompetitiveCar Allowance Pension Scheme (including PHI and Death in Service benefits)37 hour week (9-5.30 Monday – Thursday, 9-5 on Friday)22 days’ holiday moving to 27 days plus an extra 1 day after 10 years serviceSalary SacrificeFree on-site parkingChildcare Vouchers
