Role Description
* Reporting directly to the Strategic Lead play a key role in enhancing visibility of cost and margin performance, building reliable reporting and ensuring profitability is a core consideration at every stage.
* Maintain accurate and consistent cost and margin reporting.
* Analyse Bills of Materials (Boyoutu) (BoMs), routings, and labour flows to identify key cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to review product design and manufacturing methods, identifying simplification opportunities and cost‑down potential.
* Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to ensure margin performance is consistently monitored and addressed.
* Support the implementation of standardised cost control processes, dashboards, and reporting cycles.
Skills and Qualifications
* Ideally qualified to degree level.
* Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost engineer, cost specialist or similar role.
* Experience in data, operational and financial analysis.
* Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical organisation.
* Experience working within a Standard Cost environment and showing an understanding of Manufacturing VarianceMARY.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of SAP Company Information.
