Textile Designer Overview
We are working with a booming Homeware company who are looking for a Textiles Designer to join their thriving team.
The Textile Designer will design and develop prints and patterns across homeware collections such as bedding, curtains, cushions and accessories.
Textile Designer Responsibilities;
1. Carry out extensive trend and market research, and interpreting this into commercial ranges
2. Work in to customer briefs
3. Present ranges to customers
4. Regularly liaise with factories overseas to ensure designs meet quality standards
5. Oversee the development and creation of samples, and making any necessary adjustments
Additional Information
The Textile Designer will have a deep understanding of fabric properties and printing techniques, with excellent communication skills and some previous experience working in textile of homeware design.
