We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Empty Homes team, to oversee and manage the empty homes team and contractors ensuring a customer focused approach, quality, compliant and right first-time service is delivered in line with agreed budgets and performance measures.
What you'll be doing
Manage and develop a flexible, multi-skilled team to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs), such as customer satisfaction, empty homes priorities and turnaround times are achieved, works orders are closed within agreed timescales and works completed within agreed budgets.
Provide effective line management and support to Homes Assessor, Multi Skilled Trades Operatives and Apprentice delivering empty homes services.
Manage Multi Skilled Trades Operatives and contractors to ensure right first-time completion of jobs and that all health and safety is complied with in line with CHP's Health and Safety framework and statutory requirements.
Lead by example to reinforce positive behaviours within Operations teams, with suppliers and with contractors, challenging any inappropriate behaviour.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of all the IT systems used within the team, keep informed on functionality available within new releases, the configuration and updates of DRS system and liaise with Digital and Transformation to ensure systems are working optimally.
What we are looking for
Full current driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
Substantial experience of repairs and maintenance service delivery.
Excellent knowledge and skills in one or more of the following: asbestos; gas safety; CDM 2015; fire safety; plumbing; legionella, electrical safety.
Experience of successfully managing and motivating teams, including managing performance.
Good knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to embrace change, work well under pressure and adapt/prioritise to meet the changing needs of the business.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: Initially you will be expected in full time for a period of training, before initiating hybrid working where the expectancy is around 3 days a week in the office, this can vary to ensure business needs are met.
