Brearley Building Services Ltd are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You will be a key member of the team dealing with a wide range of administrative responsibilities. The individual needs to be organised, have an eye for detail, self-motivated, trustworthy and hardworking with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. This role will give you the opportunity to put your own stamp on the running and organisation of the office and project works. The role is based in our modern, spacious, comfortable office in Queensway New Milton BH25 5NN.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Daily running of the office.

General administration tasks.

Assist with raising invoices and chasing payments on a weekly basis.

Producing regular reporting for management.

Support the MD with any specific tasks as required.

Assist with supplier payments and payroll on a monthly basis.

Maintaining records for current projects.

Negotiating prices when sourcing materials or plant hire.

Be responsible for the company vehicle compliance - Tax, MOT, Insurance and any other issues.

Monitor all enquiries.

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Proven work experience as an Administrator or within an office support role (not necessarily construction sector).

Can work using own initiative.

Experience of working with accounts software would be beneficial (QuickBooks).

Previous experience within construction-based companies would be useful.

Above all we are looking for someone with a 'can do' attitude, a willingness to learn and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Job type: Part-time, permanent.

Hours: This role requires 23.5 hours a week. The hours will be Monday - Thursday 0930hrs to 1430hrs and Friday 0930hrs to 1300hrs. The role can fit around school hours.
