To carry out maintenance and repairs to equipment within the Workshop in East Kilbride, maintaining documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.
Responsibilities
* To prepare FLT’s to the standard required for STR rental and USED sales, with all that this entails, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible
* To adhere to all company H&S and Environmental and site policies, procedures and practices and ensure we operate in an environmentally safe workplace.
* Ensure K1SS and all paperwork/IT systems are completed accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers
* Liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly
* Work under own initiative without constant supervision
* To ensure all allocated work is adhered to and to notify Manager if in arrears
* Ensure that the specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.
* To ensure that all stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct
* Ensure all company issued equipment is kept in a satisfactory condition and report any failures
* To take on any reasonable additional duties as required by the Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Workshop
* Any other duties which arise as a result of duties as above

* Electrical hydraulic and/or mechanical competencies
