Location: Alliance Automotive Logistics NDC, Rotherham (M18 junction 1)

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm


Purpose Of Job

Deliver user support and proactive issue management of the Manhattan Active warehouse management system (WMS) and connected Exotec automation; identify, investigate, and solve issues with a focus on excellent communication, and drive continuous improvement of our logistics systems - all in a team of like-minded individuals with the opportunity to grow.


Experience

This role would be well suited to someone who has worked in a warehouse environment where they have provided administrative support to a fast-paced and evolving operation, in particular as a WMS/ERP systems Key/Super User, or a Goods In, Inventory or Stock Controller where a thorough understanding of the system exists.


Key responsibilities & duties

* System Management
o Work within the IT helpdesk to respond to tickets from Inbound, Outbound, Stock Control, etc. in an efficient manner
o Liaise with warehouse operational and IT colleagues at various levels of seniority to investigate issues and communicate solutions
o Review data exchanges between the ERP, WMS and automation (MHE) systems to diagnose issues
o Identify system blockages, stuck transactions, aged data, etc., ensuring a clean and well-maintained system
o Contribute to data integrity maintenance whilst also assisting with root cause analysis, error containment and proactively providing workable solutions to reduce any process failures
* Continual Improvement
o Collate key performance indicators for the different systems
o Identify and log any issues that occur with relevant corrective actions
o Train colleagues on the corrective actions if appropriate
o Test updates and changes to the various systems prior to release to production
* Organisational Capability
o Document and review standard operating procedures (SOPs)
o Create and maintain a schedule of proactive system checks
