This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.
Salary and location
Salary £34,520 to £43,151 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location South region (travel required across multiple sites)
What you will be doing
* Delivering training to operators on safe and compliant operations, including Duty of Care regulations, Hazardous Waste Regulations, HMRC requirements, and FCC policies
* Identifying skills gaps among site personnel and supporting development through tailored training
* Conducting audits of weighbridge operations to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
* Reporting breaches, malpractice, or non-compliance to site management
* Designing and delivering training courses to meet business needs and objectives
* Maintaining accurate training records and supporting documentation
* Supporting site management with queries related to training and development
* Evaluating training programmes to ensure they remain fit for purpose
* Regular travel across the South region, including overnight stays as required
* Using the learning management system to track training and development activity
What we are looking for
* PTLLS or AET qualified (essential)
* NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable)
* Operational waste industry experience (desirable)
* Knowledge of waste acceptance procedures (desirable)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to influence and support others at operational level
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays
