M&E Team Leader - Sutton Coldfield We have a fantastic opportunity for a Meeting & Events team leader to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England's leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous forgolf. We have had a really exciting year so far at The Belfry, starting with hosting The British Masters in August 2024, and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives. The Belfry Meetings and Events: At The Belfry we have beautiful event spaces. Our comprehensive and stylish meeting facilities comprise of 24 conference and banqueting rooms and can cater for a variety of events from board meetings to a full scale conference or a product launch,. The resort also caters for more leisure based events such as weddings, christenings and birthday celebrations. Salary The on target earning potential for this role is 25896 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of 24232 plus a qualified estimate of 1664 gratuities per annum About the role: As a Meetings and Events Team leader you will be responsible for checking that the BEO details are correct with customer, ensuring all information is passed to relevant departments and to monitor the setup team and ensure their work is of the highest standard and all rooms are set correctly. You will also be responsible for: Meet and greet all company organisers ensuring a warm welcome to the hotel. Deal with complaints/problems politely and make every effort to resolve these with minimal inconvenience to the customer. Ensure effective and efficient lines of communication are developed and maintained, including exercising appropriate shift hand-over procedures Training and coaching staff to maximise performance and consistently deliver 100% guest satisfaction Supervise and motivate staff to encourage and obtain maximum commitment and efficient service. Carry out other duties that may be necessary from time to time.
