We're looking for a graphic designer with a curious mind and at least 3 years' commercial experience. This is a great opportunity to work within a close-knit team on a wide variety of projects for numerous clients within the ethical, educational, and charity sectors.
Educated to degree level, you'll have a proven track record, plenty of original ideas and a passion for creativity. Dealing closely with clients, you'll be working on a range of projects from branding, print, exhibition, campaigns and motion graphics. A strong communicator you'll present new design concepts with confidence and have a well-tuned gut instinct when it comes to understanding how to push a brand. An eye for detail down to the last pixel and ensuring your work is done to the highest possible standards is crucial.
While managing a varied workload, you'll need to be a fast learner and have a real talent for problem solving. You'll have excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. A basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a big plus for this role, as is having animation experience using After Effects. You'll also be comfortable using social media platforms. Strong layout and typography skills are also important. Bundles of enthusiasm, great teamworking skills and a genuine passion for design (inside and outside the studio).
Last-but-not-least environmental issues and social causes will be close to your heart. These are high on the agenda for many of our regular clients and a vital part of the Green Hat ethos.
This is a full-time, studio based position, but we may consider a part time-role for the right candidate.
Salary based on experience.
