The Role
* Leading and managing the Music department across KS3, KS4, and KS5
* Driving high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment in Music
* Developing an engaging and ambitious Music curriculum
* Supporting and developing staff through mentoring and performance management
* Overseeing concerts, performances, and wider enrichment activities
* Managing departmental resources, budgets, and specialist equipment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Music or a closely related subject
* Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level
* Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Department role
* A strong track record of raising standards and pupil outcomes
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
