JOB TITLE: Legal Executive : Probate
LOCATION: Berkshire (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home)
SALARY: GBP 35K - GBP 60K (DOE)
Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to distribution.
* Providing expert legal advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client matters.
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
* Ensuring compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
* Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and paralegals.
Qualifications
* Legal Counsel / Legal Executive / Lawyer with a minimum of one year's experience in probate or private client law.
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the future of legal services.
* Confident communicator who can support clients through emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and clarity.
* Proven experience managing end-to-end probate and estate administration cases.
* Ability to handle complex or high-value estates with minimal supervision.
* A collaborative team player who contributes to a positive team culture.
