What you will do
We have a vacancy for a Field Service Technician this is a field-based role, and we would be open to having applications from candidates across Scotland (Inverness | Aberdeen and Elgin)
1. Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and support to customers, including EV charging station operators, maintenance personnel, and end-users, to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation of EV charging infrastructure.
2. Service/Contract Tasks: Support the Service & Contracts teams with any tasks that may be required to ensure maximum efficiency across the wider business.
3. Remote Assistance: Offer remote technical support via phone, email, or remote desktop tools, guiding customers through troubleshooting steps and providing instructions for resolution.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system, and contribute to the knowledge base for future reference.

5. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to customers of varying technical backgrounds.
7. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with customers.
8. Flexibility to travel occasionally for on-site support and willingness to work outside regular business hours as needed to support customer needs.
