Sales Director, Automotive Performance & Motorsport, Bedfordshire, £90k-150k excellent package Hybrid / Field Based Opportunity Our client is a £50 million turnover manufacturer and distributor of automotive and motorsport racing performance parts, supported by private investors. The company also manufactures products specifically for single-seat supercars, Formula 1, and the British Touring Car Championship. An opportunity has emerged for a new Sales Director to join the company as part of its next phase of expansion in order to generate additional income, new sales channels, and business growth. In order to put the company on a more stable financial foundation, the new Sales Director will also need to renegotiate some of the company's current client contracts. In addition, they will need to implement appropriate sales forecasting, strict scheduling, and cash flow tools. In this sense, the position of Sales Director is very commercial and profit-focused, requiring a candidate who can produce extremely profitable sales instead of merely generating turnover. The company's next phase of growth will be led by the Sales Director, who will also oversee the expansion of products for the expanding supercar market, launch new online items, and oversee the development of additional sales channels and distribution networks. We would welcome applications from candidates with the following attributes: Experience managing P&L ad sales for an SME / medium sized business in the automotive or related industries. Be dynamic and charismatic as a Sales Director, able to set clear direction and vision for the business and for the sales team. The Sales Director will need experience of developing lucrative and sustainable new markets, developing new sales channels and building distribution networks.
