The role: Finance Technician/Administrator This opportunity will involve supporting the continued growth of our Finance Operations division and is vital in maintaining and developing the track record of success Marsh (MMC) has in ensuring that payments, bank & insurer reconciliations are completed accurately and to agreed deadlines. Role Responsibilities: Completing of bank reconciliations to required timescales and accuracy standards. Support with month end reconciliation duties. Completing validation checks in regards to client and insurer payments Effectively investigate queries to ensure a satisfactory conclusion. Create and maintain relations with key stakeholders. Undertake all administrative functions associated with the role. Liaise with all areas of the business and third parties to resolve outstanding reconciliation queries. What can you expect? Demonstrate flexibility in assisting with other areas of the team. What you need to have: Previous experience within a finance/accounting role including reconciliations. Good academic background supported by good grades at A-Level and/or GCSE in subjects that include ideally Maths and/or English. Ability to work both independently, managing own workload and within a team. Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills in completing assigned tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and Outlook would be an advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills.
