Temporary Purchase Ledger (could go permanent)
Charing Cross
9 - 5 Monday to Friday
£14 - £16 per hour (35 hours per week)
Oliver Smith Recruitment are currently working with our key client in Glasgow to recruit a temporary Purchase Ledger.
My client is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in Accounts Payable.
Duties:
* Ensure where relevant all invoices are appropriately authorised
* Accurate posting of invoices into the purchase ledger
* Assisting with preparation of payment runs
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Posting journals
* Maintain and create new supplier accounts
* Assisting with audit preparation
* Managing the Overheads e-mail inbox
* Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
* Support with month end routines and reporting (accruals/prepayments).
* Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve invoice queries
* To provide cover for other Accounts Payable Assistants
