Overview
We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, an independent, family-owned company with an established presence across the UK. This role is based in Peterborough with some travel to other depots. The Telesales Manager will lead and inspire the telesales teams and contribute to a high-performing sales culture.
The role is based in our Head Office at Peterborough and includes responsibilities such as upselling and cross-selling opportunities while diligently achieving KPIs and targets.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the telesales teams to achieve KPIs and targets.
* Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
* Manage call allocation, leave authorisation, monitor absences, and coordinate staff rotas.
* Set and monitor team KPIs and participate hands-on in daily sales activities.
* Problem-solve daily challenges and handle escalations effectively.
* Build and maintain a motivated, high-performing team in a sales-driven environment.
Requirements
* Proven managerial experience within a fast-paced sales role
* Ability to collaborate with other departments to maximise customer service and increase sales
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload
* Flexibility to travel to Nottingham, Basildon and Norwich depots as needed
* Hold a full UK Driving licence

* A basic salary of up to £40,000 plus a team performance related bonus
* Hours of work: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday-Friday (flexibility required)
