Job Description
We are looking for a Grounds and Horticulturist Supervisor to join our team at Woodside Bay Lodge Retreat in Wootton Bridge, Isle of Wight.
This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across Monday to Friday which will include bank holidays.
Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role
Main responsibilities:
The successful Grounds and Horticulture Supervisor will
· Upkeep of Grounds, Vegetation & Woodland to a high standard
· Assist with planting, pruning and herbicide treatment
· Assist with implementing a detailed plan of scheduled seasonal work
· Complete any necessary paperwork, manage deadlines and resources
· Assist and supervise the grounds team to ensure the appearance of the retreat is kept up to its five star standard.
· Assist with grass cutting and strimming, edging and weeding borders and also clearing pathways.
· Ensure the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.
Requirements:
Previous grounds experience is preferred. Horticulture Knowledge is essential for this role. A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use the site buggies / vehicles.

Desired Criteria
* Previous maintenance / grounds experience is preferred
* Hot tub maintenance experience is advantageous
Required Criteria
* Right to Live and work in the UK
* Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills
