We're now looking for a Freight Planner,
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Produce and maintain both Strategic plans ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
* Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
* Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer and internal colleagues, including senior management
this Role Would Suit People Who
* Planning & Operational experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea)
* Knowledge of systems such as CMMS / SAP would be advantageous
* IT Literate, With Microsoft Office Packages
* Experience in Excel based Data Analysis
