The RoleThis is an excellent Mechanical Design Engineer role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field.The Mechanical Design Engineer will use their engineering knowledge & experience of product development. You will ideally have a focus on special purpose machinery and 2D & 3D CAD systems, responsible for leading the design, test and delivery of machinery, equipment and fixtures; relating electro-mechanical devices.The CompanyThe Mechanical Design Engineer will join a global organisation within the scientific manufacturing industry. The Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern in place is full-time onsite, with possible flex to hybrid working after a successful probation.

What’s Required?
The Ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:
* A relevant degree within an engineering discipline such as Mechanical engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
* A good understanding of product development ideally with experience of a focus on precision component design for special purpose machinery
* Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems - Solidworks would be ideal!
