Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for an Integration Manager Electrical Systems to be based at our customers site in Whitley .
Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
The Role:
The Integration Manager is responsible for leading the integration of electrical and electronic systems across the entire vehicle platform. This includes overseeing validation activities, ensuring Design Verification Plan (DVP) sign-off, and managing cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust, interoperable automotive systems.
Area of Responsibility
System Integration & Validation
Lead whole-vehicle EE integration and validation activities.
Ensure DVP activities are completed successfully for vehicle sign-off.
Translate vehicle-level requirements into subsystem-level specifications.
Oversee interoperability across EE subsystems (e.g., infotainment, powertrain, chassis, body electronics).
Technical Leadership
Drive system architecture development for connected vehicle platforms.
Manage issue resolution and escalate delays or blockers to chief engineers.
Coordinate with software, hardware, and controls teams to ensure seamless integration.
Project & Team Management
Lead multidisciplinary teams across global locations.
Plan and track resources, timelines, and deliverables.
Interface with internal stakeholders and customer technical teams
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure systems meet ISO 26262 and other automotive safety standards.
Maintain interface control documents and integration roadmaps.
Support audits and technical reviews with complete documentation.
Knowledge / Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering.
Strong experience in EE system integration within the automotive domain.
Strong understanding of vehicle EE architecture, CAN/LIN/FlexRay protocols, and diagnostic tools.
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe, HIL/MIL/SIL environments).
Familiarity with ASPICE, AUTOSAR, and functional safety standards.
Leadership in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Experience with embedded systems, BMS, and telematics integration.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
