Healthcare Assistant - Residential & Dementia Care - Bridgend Are you an caring professional with experience in supporting individuals with Dementia and other health conditions? About the Role This is a flexible temporary position suitable for both full-time and part-time shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support within residential, nursing, Dementia, and respite care settings. Experience with Manual Handling equipment in a live environment is crucial. You will deliver therapeutic care, assist with personal care, and support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities * Delivering personalised care and support to residents with diverse needs, including Dementia care. * Assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities. * Implementing and supporting care plans in line with organisational standards. * Using Manual Handling equipment safely and effectively. * Providing companionship and emotional support to residents and their families. Essential Skills & Experience * Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare or social care environment. * Practical experience with Manual Handling equipment in live care settings. * Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety protocols. * A genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of elderly residents. * Right to work in the UK.
