An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Case Handler in our Insurance Legal Service Department. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, self-motivated and talented individual to take on the role.
Working as part of the Insurance Legal Services, which is a fast-paced environment, you will be representing a major insurer client and their policyholders in respect of various types of claims including motor claims, motor claims where the third party is a non-UK resident and claims involving damage to insured residential property.
You will be responsible for advising the insurer client and their policyholder, liaising with third parties in order to progress claims and/or negotiate settlements and dealing with litigated claims from the commencement of proceedings to trial.
Telephone contact with our clients is an important aspect of the role, you will be discussing the position of their case with them, answering any questions they may have and providing advice on the various aspects of the case.
You will manage your own caseload using our case management system. Having had the benefit of an excellent initial training package, you will have all of the tools you need to excel in your role. As you progress, you will be continually supported and will be given many opportunities to further your development and strengthen your abilities.
