SAP Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities
* Analyse the build and business process used in SAP to help define, validate, and document detailed business and functional calculation rules/requirements for the HR and Payroll processes in Oracle.
* Engage with functional leads to map existing SAP business practices into Oracle compatible processes.
* Collaborate with functional leads and the SI to review configuration, integrations, reporting requirements and data migration logic, based on their SAP knowledge.
* Support functional leads with addressing queries from SI on requirements, calculation rules, configuration, and data migration mapping (SAP related).
* Participate in DM mapping, design sessions (e.g. calculation rules) and Playbacks. Be able to check SAP for any information requested, both technical and functional (or know who to approach to get this information).
* Assist in answering specific queries about work structures, SAP configuration of HR and Payroll and current business processes (with access to others to answer very specific questions).
* Work with the Functional Leads to write report specification for Oracle reports (based on SAP reporting) and be able to run reports in SAP or find sample outputs from SAP.
* Participate in planning, undertaking and investigating issues from UAT and PPR testing (from a SAP perspective).
* Advise on legislative payroll and HMRC requirements as part of design and migration processes.
