Job Description
* As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for:
* Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Maintain up-to-date and organised accounts payable records.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
* Respond to supplier inquiries and provide excellent service.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payment processes.
* Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts payable role.
* Strong understanding of accounting systems and processes.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
