Would you like to join our friendly Maternity Ward Clerk team at Scarborough Hospital?
In this role you will provide a wide range of Ward Clerk administrative tasks, including clerical support and reception duties within the Maternity Unit. The role is varied and busy, and as part of our team you will also provide clerical support across the wider Women’s Health department when required.
Part time - 22.5 hours per week, 9 months to cover maternity leave. Please note this post may become Permanent at the end of Fixed Term/Secondment. If you wish to apply for this post as a Secondment opportunity, please seek permission from your current line manager before applying. Previous applicants need not apply. Interviews will be held face to face only, no remote requests can be accommodated.
Responsibilities
* Provide a wide range of Ward Clerk administrative tasks, including clerical support and reception duties within the Maternity Unit.
* Provide clerical support across the wider Women’s Health department when required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Self-disciplined, motivated and empathetic to all those you come into contact with.
* Ability to prioritise your own workload, possess sound communication skills, work as part of a team, and exercise initiative within set parameters.
* Adheres to the Trust’s values, demonstrating compassion, welfare focus, and personal accountability.
* Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
