Job Description:
1. Responsible for supporting in manufacturing process establishment. Responsible for improving manufacturing process focused on small bore tube welding.
2. Responsible for attending to troubleshoot activity in the Subsea Distribution (SSD) daily production activity and in the projects. Responsible to interact with global engineering team to for QN Management, Procedural update, Design Review (DR) Management, Technical discussion, New product development etc.
3. Responsible for QN disposal from Engineering stand point. Responsible for review, interpret and analyze and circulate the inhouse raw material test reports and supplier reports.
4. Responsible for process optimization and taking full ownership of the welding process/ SSD products.
5. Attend to troubleshooting for process improvement and rectification. Coordinate with procurement team for providing technical clarifications and justifications.
6. Coordinate with planning to understand forecast and execution strategy. Coordinate with planning and procurement for raw material requirement.
7. Responsible for reviewing and approving the process documentation, SOP’s, work instructions etc.
Requirements:
8. Must possess a clear understanding of general math & the ability to read, write & comprehend English & Hindi. Ability to comprehend technical drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), Operation & Maintenance procedures, Quality & Safety Documents.
9. Must be well versed with Small Bore tube welding process. Must be familiar with Subsea distribution products ( UTA, Cobra head, Logic cap, HDM, SDU)
10. Must be familiar with API and ASTM codes
11. Must be familiar with pressure codes and standards. Must be having thorough understanding on Subsea distribution product line.
12. Must be having thorough knowledge on Assembly and testing of subsea distribution product line. Must have clear understanding and working experience with measuring and monitoring tools e.g. OD/ID meter, Hardness tester, PG/PT, Temperature gauges etc.
13. Exposure to shop floor environment is mandate. Must have clear application understanding of heavy duty hydraulic equipment e.g. Hydraulic Press, CNC Machine, Oven, Milling Machine, Crane, Material Handling Equipment etc.
14. Knowledge on PLC setup & automation will be considered as additional advantage. Must be trained on operating overhead crane. Operating knowledge (with Valid License) of forklift would be an added advantage.
15. Must be aware about Industrial safety standards. Ability to perform dimensional inspection for heavy weight oil & gas equipment would be an added advantage.
16. Working knowledge of SAP roles for a process/ manufacturing engineer.
17. Sound knowledge about material handling and Assembly & Pressure Testing process.
18. Working knowledge about lean implementation, VSM's and shop floor digitization.
19. Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in industry or having relevant work experience of 8 years in industry with diploma.
