Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a leading distributor based in Middlesbrough, overseeing operations across four warehouses within a 15-mile radius in the Teesside area.
This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving efficiency, leading teams, ensuring compliance, and supporting the wider operational objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods in, storage, and dispatch

Manage and optimise warehouse layout and stock control
*
Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams across all sites
*
Ensure all goods are handled, stored, and repacked safely and in line with company procedures
*
Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and compliance purposes
*
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to manage delivery schedules and expectations
*
Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and manage warehouse budgets
*
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service levels
*
Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and champion best practices across all locations
*
Contribute to wider business goals through effective warehouse operations
Requirements:

Previous xperience in warehouse management across mutliple sites
*
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
*
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution
*
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and driving performance
*
High attention to detail and a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure
*
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
*
Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
*
Proficiency in IT systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS)
