Rural Estate Manager - Cumbria
Location: South, Central & East Cumbria
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced land management professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? We're seeking an Estate Manager to take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of estates across Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead progressive land management practices, build strong relationships with tenants, and help shape the future of rural estates.

You'll be the key point of contact for tenants and stakeholders, ensuring estates are managed professionally and sustainably. Expect variety-strategic planning, site visits, and collaboration with a skilled team of property and asset management professionals.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Manage a portfolio of estates across South, Central, and East Cumbria
2. Build strong relationships with farm tenants and partners
3. Provide expert advice on land use, agriculture, and environmental issues
4. Support strategic land management decisions and deliver projects
5. Take responsibility for budgets and financial performance
What We're Looking For:
6. Strong knowledge of land use, agriculture, asset management, conservation, and sustainability
7. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
8. RICS accreditation (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
9. Financial and project management experience
10. A proactive, solution-focused approach
