Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to take up an Operations Manager position within our dedicated Domestic Adjusting team. Based in the Midlands, you'll balance office and remote work to optimise your team's efficiency.
Our dedicated domestic adjusting team generally handles claims up to £100k in value. Each domestic adjuster works alongside a designated adjusting executive and is part of the larger regional team. Claims are allocated based on experience and technical ability, with each claim assessed for complexity prior to allocation.
Your role demands strong leadership, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You'll ensure your team is equipped to handle the most challenging claims, while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities
* Lead a high performing team within the Domestic Adjusting function.
* Manage and support complex property insurance claims up to £100k in value.
* Communicate clearly with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders; explain complex details and negotiate fair settlements.
* Collaborate with adjusting executives and regional teams to optimise efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
* Proven management skills with the confidence to lead a high performing team.
* Experience handling complex property insurance claims.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Sedgwick-specific training to thrive in the role (Sedgwick University and related programs).
